In the next step of merging with Stichting Een Helpende Hand, we have jointly described our objectives and during our joint meeting we have ratified these. In addition, we have decided to continue as 1 foundation as of January 1, 2026.
Improving Education in Yele, Yonibana and Makeni Sierra Leone
• Supporting primary and secondary schools by offering materials, infrastructure and training for teachers. For example YEHE.
• Creating programs to give girls and vulnerable children access to education. For example FLEP
• Collaborating with local authorities and communities to make education more sustainable. For example with District Directors Education.
• Contributing to further development for potential students, which will then be used in the Yele region.
Improving sustainable care in Makeni, Sierra Leone
• Increasing the quality of care in City Garden Clinic through training programs and medical equipment.
• Strengthening the administrative and organizational capacity of the clinic to promote independence.
Improving Education in Sri Lanka
• Supporting education programs in rural and disadvantaged areas of Sri Lanka.
• Providing more accessible educational materials and infrastructure, especially for vulnerable groups such as children from poor families.
• Implementing vocational training programs to prepare young people for the labor market.
